Okay here's my idea on a new Fireteam Mode.



Lets say you completed Cabin Fever and was extracted via Helicopter. Helicopter crashes in the sea because of a technical failure. Village would be situated at the foot of a large hill in a hostile area by the coastline. So your team would be moving inland.



1. Storyline: While in the helicopter, they receive intel of a recent report of missing weapons from a military installation 20 miles from the Cabin Fever site. A spy is believed to have been conducting small raids on the military bunker. Helicopter crashes into the sea due to technical failures. Soldiers have to wade in the shallow waters into the village to find that spy and retrieve the weapons and get to that military bunker to await the next extraction team.



In-Game


The team must get to the nearest Military Safehouse which is on the other side of the hill. Distance between village and hill would be about the same as the Insertion Point to the Extraction Point in Desert Thunder.


* There will be wooden huts on stilts (wooden sticks) by the coastline and you have to search for
items in the village because your supplies were destroyed in the crash.
There will be hostile
villagers in the village with pitchforks, shovels and shotguns trying to kill you. Occasionally there
will be women and children and for each woman or children you kill, 30 points get deducted.

* Once you find the spy, the story will play in which the Team Leader interrogates the Spy and asks
him for the location of the weapons and the military base. Retrieve the weapons for the mission
(M16s, grenade launchers) and proceed out of the village
and head on towards the hills.

* There will be stone steps all the way up the hill and down the other side. Zombies will come in from
all sides, top, left and right of the steps. The objective now is to kill the zombies and move up the
steps to the hilltop.
There will be poisonous gas surrounding the steps so that the team cannot
leave the steps (like in Cabin Fever).

* Once you have cleared the zombies, move up to the hilltop. Now as part of the storyline, the team leader will brief his men to move down the steps and go by the dirt road surrounded by grass and occasional trees, find the Concealed Entrance to the underground Bunker and the game ends.


Like in Desert Thunder, there are 3 ways to get the Intel, Target A, Target B, Target C. In this suggestion for the new fireteam mode, I suggest there be 3 areas in the village where the spy can possibly be, Area A, B and C.

Setting: It will be around Dusk when the helicopter crashes into the coastline, Dark by the time you get to the hill.






Its just a suggestion. Maybe if you all give constructive feedback then I will put the storyline and roughly the setting in a proper manner to present to the CA community via the Nexon Forums.

I thought after the team was rescued, then one of them kena infected? I dont think its possible for them to take another mission. I feel their main mission is to escape from the island.

I mean its just an idea what,

Probably like, after the soldier got infected he gets pushed off the plane,
then they fly on, but suddenly Helicopter's tail wing broke off.

They crash into the sea.
