Skype (Somewhat like Ventrilo or MSN)

Well, some users in SGA are using Skype. Like DNA09, Fate, Vaper, Kepper... (So far I know)

I was wondering if you guys would be interested in using Skype? It is somewhat like Ventrilo or MSN. But it is more focused on Video Call and "Phone" Call usage..

well i think vent's ok ... althought its public.

if u want privacy u can put private convos with skype for free... but it is not a hold and talk thing.
it is continuous voice to voice chatting which means one party can hear everything going on at another party's side as long as their convo is connected
and er some ppl dun like it that way

personally i prefer push to talk convos

Good post I also already download Skype liao Would recomend everyone to use lor then we all can command and overcome anything that crosses our path

Btw, another way is to buy a head phone with mic attached AND a on/off mute switch

Which I just bought especially just for CA and cos FateOfYouth was pretty pissed off when I didn't have skype whe he first tested me that night. I bought from Phillips cost like SGD$30

I know a bit ex, but I'm sure there are other brands that do the same at a cheaper price

That is considered cheap alr. Haha. When all the members has skype and a headset. We can definetly communicate better! Esp the part where syed will cfm screw us if we fail to work tgt.

oh and btw Syed,

Skype can PTT one.

go to settings and change it. than al lyou have to do is change a PTT key than enable the PTT mode and than youre done. but its not like vent where you will hear a " beep" sound when you press the button. so when you presss the button prepare to talk lio. or sing,. or just scream.

i nmean after all. the main objective here is to spoil people's hearing =D
